About the Role
Our client, a well-established and successful business located on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking an experienced part-time Bookkeeper to manage their profit and loss sheets, balance sheets and BAS for three companies.
If you are looking for permanent part-time work with approximately 20 hours per month, along with excellent conditions and remuneration, then this could be the role for you!
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly and quarterly BAS
- Payroll journals and accruals to GL
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit card and PayPal reconciliations
- Preparation of GST monthly and quarterly returns
- Profit/loss sheets and balance sheets
- ADHOC duties as required
- Reconciliations to be completed prior to the 12th of each month
Skills & Experience Required
- Competent Bookkeeping or Accounting experience (3+ years)
- Sound Accounting software knowledge in MYOB / SAP and ideally SAGE 300/Accpac (or willing to be trained)
- Confident with Microsoft Office software
- Own ABN number (preferably)
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Team player, well presented, punctual and 100% reliable
- Willing to commit to the role
